Who is Kayla?

Hey Smoothie, I’m Kayla — your favorite Licensed Esthetician and founder of Heavy On Esthetics!

I actually started my esthetics journey back in Chicago, graduating in July 2020 right in the middle of COVID. That experience taught me so much about resilience, people, and the real meaning of self-care. I moved to Georgia shortly after and got my GA esthetics license in September 2021 — and I’ve been in my bag ever since!

I started my solo career at iModel Beauty Bar, which will always feel like home to me. They’ve since moved to Jonesboro, and I’m still there doing what I love most — helping y’all feel confident and cared for.

I specialize in Full Body Waxing (especially my signature Chocolate Wax and Shea Butter Wax) and Facials that focus on relaxation, repair, and results. I also offer advanced treatments like Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Nano Infusion, and Chemical Peels.

On top of that, I teach Waxing Classes every other month in Sandy Springs and provide Consulting for estheticians and spa owners who want to tighten up their craft or their business.
